10.Mar.10 Run in England in Merseyside
There are some fantastic opportunities to join a Run in England group if you live in Merseyside. Local councils are enthusiastically embracing the project.
Sefton have a group as part of their active workforce programme and are looking to start another one shortly.
Knowsley have got 2 groups as part of their active workforce programme and they are currently training more leaders and looking to start a group in another part of the borough.
Wirral have got 7 leaders and 11 groups with their programme coordinated by the Active Families Manager.
St Helens are very interested and are hoping to hold a LiRF course there.
Halton are also interested in setting up groups but need leaders. So, if you live locally, and want to get involved check out our 'Leadership in Running Fitness' (LiRF) course.
