10.Mar.10 Run in England Race Packs - Milton Keynes Tigers lead the way
The Milton Keynes Tigers Club are big fans of the England Athletics 'Run in England' race pack. They used it to help stage the Wolverton 5 event, which proved very successful.
The pack, is free of charge, includes race numbers, marshal bibs, start and finish banners and distance markers.
Brian Graves from the club says:
"The start and finish banners certainly brightened up and helped highlight the respective start/finish areas. The clear mile markers were a big improvement on what we had used before, and the provision of race numbers was a goodly saving to the Club’s finances. Overall the assistance from England Athletics was greatly appreciated.”
Several club members have gone through the LiRF training course and are now organising their own 'Run in England' groups. Runners in the Wolverton 5 also trained for the event in their local RiE group.
